#33 Let's Talk About Fertility With Dr. Heather Seay

Dr. Heather Seay is a doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine who has been in practice for twelve years. She became a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine four years ago because she was so passionate about wanting to help as many women and couples get pregnant as she could so they could experience the joys of being a parent. Her passion for women's health and fertility began in 1998 after she had focused on healing her painful periods using the principles of holistic medicine. She very quickly conceived her first daughter after this and realized how powerful acupuncture, Chinese medicine and other natural therapies are at balancing the body and allowing the natural processes of our bodies to function and serve their purpose. She uses acupuncture and Chinese medicine to facilitate the natural healing abilities of the body. When a body is in balance it is able to heal itself and keep itself in homeostasis and when a body is in homeostasis conception can occur.
